When a drinks brand looks to craft a new beverage of standard and impeccable taste, building a drink blended from innovative thoughts and references from the labels own codes is a necessary step in the process. And, this is an art form that the cognac brand Rémy Martin has clearly mastered, as it unveils Tercet.

Looking to embody a vision of a blend that he has held close for many years, Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau called on the likes of Francis Nadeau and Jean-Marie Bernard to dream up a fruity cognac, featuring the sweet notes of lychee and apricot and the smoke of a grilled almond finish. But, while the trio has ensured that their bold new beverage is one unlike any other on the market thanks to its tantalising array of smells and tastes, that is not to say that the history of Rémy Martin has gone forgotten. Encased in the classic Rémy Martin decanters, the golden elixir is a touching ode to the brand’s ethos and history.

“It is an honour, a responsibility, and trust that have been given to us. Baptiste Loiseau listened, he heard and transformed what we told him, and taught us in return. This is the Rémy Martin spirit, this permanent sharing where we give back what we have learned from others,” explains master distiller Jean-Marie Bernard on the new cognac.
