Multi-talented duo, Juicy, want to introduce you to the sound of their debut album MOBILE, starting with the eclectic cut, “Love When It’s Getting Bad”. Featuring a cacophony of sounds, from eerie music box-esque samples to melodic blocks of flute, members Julie Rens and Sasha Vovk look to take their fans on a contorted journey through musical genres, resulting in a sonic trip of sorts.

And, while the track is enough to prove that the pair are truly unique in their approach to music, that is not the extent of their experimental nature. Looking to offer watchers an array of twisted scenes cut from their personal dystopia, we are treated to a show of a paranormal nature as the pair commence the unveiling of their 4-part musical short film, starting with “Love When It’s Getting Bad”.

“After finishing the production of our debut album MOBILE, we wanted every song to be translated visually. We entrusted the project to the visual art collective Gogolplex, who produced a musical short movie based on the songs from the album. ‘Love When It’s Getting Bad’ is both the first single from MOBILE and also the focus track for the first episode of this musical short movie. We have been intrigued by crimes of passion for a long time and the extent to which we come to romanticize violence in certain fusional relationships.”
