When it comes to the release of a new track from a beloved artist, nothing beats a track in which they call upon a talent of the same calibre to collaborate with them. And, this is exactly what New York’s Miss Madeline has done with the release of “Popstar” featuring Polo Perks. Ushering in her debut EP “Picture This” with the new track, its sound hopes to welcome us into Miss Madeline’s world, which it achieves thanks to its electronic production and sultry tone. With Polo Perks also showing off his effortless flow on the track, it situates itself as undeniably repeat-wrothy.

“This song is about that person that makes you feel like your on top of the world, who cheers you on as if you were playing the Super Bowl just to them – a personal pop star in a superstar love story,” explains Miss Madeline.

And, the only thing that could make the track better? A Y2K-tinged music video with the pair serenading their followers and each other whilst lounging in a glossy hot pink limo and strewn about in a poster-adorned bedroom accompanies, confirming its status as one of our favourite releases of the week.
