Rising R&B artist, BOY SODA, has just penned a love letter to self-love and progression, and it features in the track, “WELCOME TO THE GLOW UP”.

Featuring a joyous R&B sound, the track hopes to spotlight the Australian artist’s romantic tone and empowering lyricism, all of which are elevated by triumphant production, culminating in the perfect embodiment of the track’s bold messaging. And, while the release of “W2TGU” is enough to ensure that the young talent is planted firmly on the musical map, this is not where he plans on stopping, as he unveils its official music video. Whimsical in nature, the visuals invite viewers into SODA’s hazy and trippy universe which features the electric flash of neon lighting and giant pandas, of course.

“The video really communicated the high level of energy and celebration of self that exists in the song,” explains BOY SODA. “We used the panda to illustrate this almost unhinged and elusive alter ego within my head and communicate these ideas of playful inner dialogue. On a visual level, this video is much darker then ‘LU2B’, because with every release, I think about it as shedding another layer, and this song introduces you to a darker colour palette and a heavier soundscape.”
