When it comes to certain artists, it’s had to place them in genre. With so many evolving sounds and elements, more and more musicians have found ways to consistently push the boundaries on their niche and that is exactly what Tariq Disu continues to do. Dropping his new single “BOUNCE” today, the artist puts his signature sound on full display, merging it with a contortions of samples and riffs. Intertwining elements of glossy electronica and contemporary R&B, Disu loads the single with hefty doses of poetic raps and holds no barrels.

Accompanying the single with a self-directed psychedelic video, the rapper offers an insight into his soundscape and world, introducing us to his distinctive and innovative sound.

Having already gained production credits working with the likes of Ella Mai, Sam Wise and Knucks, Disu has intricately carved out his own lane in the new era of UK rap and we are excited to see where he’ll be heading.
