If you have spent the entirety of Monday reminiscing over the party-filled weekend just past, fear not as RAYE and Riton’s new track is here to transport you straight back to the club and away from the qualms of a new working week.

Featuring a thumping bass and rhythmic sensibilities, “I Don’t Want You” instantly sweeps listeners into its dance-heavy soundscape as RAYE’s now-infamous vocals meet Riton’s energetic production in a truly effortless manner. And, with a featured sample from Dominica’s 1994 club classic “Gotta Let You Go” also making itself known, the track consolidates itself as the official anthem of the incoming weekend.

“I wrote this song on the day I became independent,” explains Raye. “I hadn’t written for a long while before this day so it just felt really euphoric and so fun to make. I got sent the beat from Riton and immediately knew where I wanted to take it. It’s about empowering yourself from those who refuse to give you the love you deserve. Switching up your energy, and taking the power back.”

And, in a bid to make the track all the more explosive as it hurdles towards the top of the dance charts, fans of the duo are also invited to enjoy a set of Chloe Victoria Hughes-directed visuals that pay homage to RAYE’s innately sensual nature, making the project all the more hype-worthy.
