When it comes to a meeting of two infamous, albeit unexpected, minds, there is only one way to celebrate – and that is with a party. With this in mind, NBA and Hennessy looked to invite the best and brightest talents in London to a glamorous party, held in celebration of their newly established global partnership.
Taking to the Tate Modern, the two names put on a glamorous affair in which guests were invited to browse through a collection of legendary basketball relics, including Michael Jordan trainers, as a forever-flowing supply of peach cognac cocktails dreamed up by the minds at Hennessy were served up. With the event masterfully integrating the American institution’s codes into a London-bound setting, it was a shining example of a clashing of names, minds and brands coming together in perfect harmony, a unison that hopes to continue at the Hennessy x NBA pop-up game bar that can be found in Boxpark Shoreditch between October 27th and 31st.
And, what is a party without a star-studded guest list? From the likes of Kojo Funds and Tiffany Calver called upon to perform for everyone from Daisy Lowe and Goldie to Harry Pinero and Jack Fowler, the night confirmed itself as one to remember.
