When an artist looks to release a debut project, it is fair to say it hopes to stand as an embodiment of them as an artist. And, if Majestic Casual-signed Nora Lilith’s “Daysof8″ is anything to go off, we are utterly intrigued by the artist on the rise. Lending her captivating tone and other-worldly rasp to the new EP, the artist instantly proves that she is one to watch as she bursts onto the scene with an almighty force. And, with experimental production clashing with sampling galore, the EP situates itself as one unlike any other the industry has to offer.

“This EP, to me, feels like an assortment of sonic experiments and inner world reflections. I feel like the energetic range of these tracks is a direct outcome of the varying timelines these tracks were created on, some very old, some newer and some written on the same day. Overall, these songs lyrically all share an element of malaise, while instrumentally expressing both a sanguine and broody attitude,” explains Nora when speaking on her new track.

And, to further prove that Nora Lilith is a musical maverick worthy of the name, single “Misfed” which has been hacked straight from the new project comes accompanied by some seriously avant-garde visuals. Filled with scenes of emotional torment, contemporary dance and transportive visions, the music video is a shining example of Nora’s unparalleled potential.
