It may be Thursday, but we’re getting ourselves in tune with the weekend and Dublin-hailed singer-songwriter Sophie Doyle Ryder is helping with her pop-fiesta track “Hunni Hunni”. Both bold and vibrant, the artist rides a synth-infused production while showcasing her powerhouse vocals and lyrical prowess. Tapping into an old-school funk vibe for the production, the singer comfortably sits in between the likes of Anne Marie and Dua Lipa with her infectious dance-pop energy and charismatic attitude.
Discussing the single, the artist said, “I’m beyond excited for the world to forget their troubles and dance along to ‘Hunni Hunni’! I hope it brings people as much joy as it brought me to sing and write”.
Having signed with Billie Eilish and Take That label Paradign Agency, the artist is set to drop her debut EP later this year, while heading out on tour next year. Teasing that it is full of chart-topping hits, we’re excited to see what else the singer has in store for us.
