Dsquared2 have gone fairytale grunge for their Spring Summer 2022 collection. An oxymoron in itself, the designs show the sharp contrast Dean and Dan Caten, founders of Dsquared2, have become synonymous with – think tulle with tailoring, military romanticism and tough textures with delicate details. Inviting us into their fairytale world located in an ethereal reworked warehouse, the collection was every bit as grunge and mysterious as you’d expect.

Designed with a past, future and present in mind, the collection unveiled a dreamy spirit and every element of fantasy with vintage aesthetics shining through. From the intricate eye-catching jewellery to the must-have chunky boots, the collection echoed the fun and free-spirited nature of the brand, with each layer more detailed than the next.

The girls appear elegant; sheathed in layers of lace, tulle and gauzy florals. But paired with platforms and rugged details, they prove they are not to be messed with whilst fruit pendants with butterflies to boot, bring a sense of the natural world into the concrete backdrop. Attitudes of steel styled with leather leotards and jeans ripped to shreds dominated the duo’s latest collection and brought a sense of punk rock to the stage.

In the men’s clothing, military styling with upcycled patch pockets and hints of camouflage ruled the scene, alongside a plethora of distressed tees and dainty florals. Making their grand entrance in fluttering fairy wings,
