While many of you will be looking towards a weekend filled with high energy partying, if you are looking to spend a mellow evening relaxing in solitude, Ghostly Kisses’ new track “Heaven, Wait” should be the official sound of your weekend. Standing as a deeply melancholic cut sure to send you into the depths of your feels, the singer-songwriter lays her soul bare as her ethereal vocals softly lay over atmospheric production, culminating in a truly captivating sound. And, with the track hoping to welcome the world to the sounds of the artist’s debut album of the same name, “Heaven, Wait” becomes all the more awe-invoking.
When speaking on her newest release, Ghostly Kisses, aka Margaux SauvĂ©, states, “‘Heaven, Wait’ is about transitions: from friendship to love, life to death, solitude to relationship, childhood to adulthood. A transition from the dark towards the light; from difficult experiences to being at peace with these events.”
And, in a bid to make the project all the more moving, Ghostly Kisses has also revealed the track’s accompanying music video. Whilst witnessing an artful choreographed dance, watchers are invited to get lost in a wordless dialogue between two figures who manage to portray the track’s love-laced and emotional narrative through the medium of dance.
