Telfar bags have quickly become the most sought after accessory in the fashion world. And, while its infamous Shopping Bag is becoming increasingly craved by fashion-lovers, the label made it clear that it still has expansion on the brain as it unveiled its latest accessory. Whilst announcing its new TELFAR.TV broadcasting service, designer Telfar Clemens took the opportunity to unveil The Duffle, a cylindrical new accessory from the brand that harks on its sporty sensibilities, all the while showcasing the infamous embossed T motif. We will take one in every colour, please!

Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner took a trip to the Michael Kors runway

While an appearance from the world’s most beloved models is to be expected at NYFW, the recent reunion of new mother, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner on the Michael Kors runway got the internet chatting due to its sentimental nature. Dressed in suave getups hacked straight from the most recent Kors collection, the pair showed off their matching red lips and slicked side-parted hairdos as they posed backstage. We are so happy that the modelling world’s most dynamic duo is back in action!

The heavens opened on the Moschino runway

Thanks to COVID, many brands are looking to the wonders of the great outdoors when choosing how best to showcase their newest collections. And, while the rainy spells at the Pyer Moss Couture show should have acted as a warning for others, Jeremy Scott still decided to go ahead with an outdoor presentation when unveiling Moschino’s latest offerings. And, as an umbrella-wielding crowd looked on, the likes of Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk walked the rainy runway, dressed in the house’s latest garishly adorable tea party-themed collection. Clearly, come rain or shine, fashion will prevail!

Larry David did not appreciate the front row treatment

One of our favourite moments from this NYFW was, believe it or not, served up by comedian Larry David. Whilst a majority of the population would kill to sit front row amongst the fashion world’s elite, the glitz and glamour of the industry’s most anticipated event clearly didn’t have the same effect on Larry. Whilst observing STAUD‘s Spring/Summer 2022 show, the 74-year-old star could be seen covering his ears and looking seriously underwhelmed by the display in front of him, which has now landed him the title of Twitter’s most beloved meme. Larry, we feel you!

Everyone and their mum turned up to the Revolve party

Fashion week is obviously known for its runways, but what follows the grand shows is the parties. And, this year’s ‘it’ party was apparently hosted by Revolve. With a guest list featuring the likes of Shaninam Shaik, Jasmine Tookes and a pregnant Kylie Jenner, the event served up mirror rooms and flower walls galore, as models and influencers alike came together to celebrate NYFW with the makeup and lifestyle brand. Brb, just crying over the fact that we didn’t get an invite.

Brandon Maxwell let us know that stripes are up next

Of course, we couldn’t do a NYFW round-up without paying tribute to the collections born out of the event, and we think Brandon Maxwell’s Spring/Summer 2022 line is worthy of a special nod. Featuring sporty gingham cuts, trippy printed slip dresses and metallic skirts, the collection played on the versatility of verticle lines as they were manipulated and worked into an array of eclectic garments, with the subtle theme fusing the line together. And, who better to model the stripe-infested collection than Gigi Hadid and Paloma Elsesser?
