But, while the affair celebrates the best in film, it is also a time highly anticipated by fashion fanatics, as the red carpet holds the promise of standout outfits dreamed up by some of the biggest names in the industry. And, this year’s event did not disappoint. There was only one way to start this week’s Looks of the Week, and it was by paying tribute to Zendaya in custom Balmain at the Venice film festival. While wet-look outfits have been filling red carpets for a while now – cast your minds back to Kim Kardashian’s stunning Thierry Mugler display at the 2019 Met Gala – it is fair to say that Zendaya has just become the official queen of the beloved aesthetic. Donning masterfully sculpted Balmain leather akin to a glassy marble statue that was washed over in a creamy tan hue, Zendaya was a vision of pure perfection. And, in a bid to add a little sparkle, the actress could be seen sporting a chunky emerald green Bulgari necklace. What a way to steal the show, Zendaya.

Normani has been taking Instagram by storm since her triumphant return to the music scene earlier this summer, and, thanks to her latest post, she clearly doesn’t plan on slowing down. Ensuring that her ensemble was undeniably eye-catching, the signer could be seen sporting a lace-up corset that matched her pair of nude briefs perfectly. Adding a splash of summer colour was a cut-out sunflower yellow net skit that contrasted the singer’s top-half in a bold manner. Thanks to this look, yellow and tan haves have become our new favourite colour combo!

Joining co-star Zendaya in Venice this week was Timotheé Chalamet, and as per usual, the actor turned the red carpet into his runway. Dressed by Haider Ackermann, the Dune actor commanded the attention of fangirls and movie lovers alike in a velvety black two-piece that was covered in sparkling crystals that deflected the Venitian sun with the actor’s every move. Paired with a pair of thin-framed sunglasses, Timmy look effortlessly cool – as always.

Any Harry Styles outfit is a thing to behold, and his latest was no exception. Taking to Las Vegas upon the commencement of his “Love On Tour” run, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer decided to keep it coordinated in an all-red outfit. Continuing on with his close partnership with Gucci, Harry could be seen sporting a pair of pink-toned trousers that gained elevation from a sparkling tassel-adorned vest, all crafted by the Italian luxury fashion house. Can Harry and Gucci drop a collaborative line already?

A meeting of two unlikely celebrities is always a joy to witness, so it is no wonder why these images of Bling Empire‘s Jaime Xie and supermodel Adriana Lima are currently breaking the internet. Posing for a set of sweet polaroids that were captured behind the scenes of this year’s Venice Film Festival, the pair could be seen draped in gold as Jaime’s currently-trending Roberto Cavalli SS2005 leopard print display and Adriana’s model-ready ETRO gown became the centre of attention. The final look from Venice that is worthy of notice could be seen being modelled by the star that is Anya Taylor-Joy. Working alongside celebrated stylist Law Roach, the brain responsible for Zendaya’s Balmain look, Taylor-Joy stunned in a fuchsia pink satin get up that came complete with a geometric neckline and a loud bow that was attached at the star’s waist. And, thanks to a netted headpiece that rounded off the look, the actress looked Bridgerton ready.

Rounding off this week’s Looks of the Week is none other than Kendall Jenner in a dress that we want to add to our wardrobes immediately. Whilst lounging around a yacht, as one does casually, the beauty wore a striking floor-length grassy green gown that came complete with a textured V-shaped neckline and dimension-adding pannels around the waist.
