Life can be a very overwhelming thing to contemplate. But, alt-pop duo Anaté is here to let you know that giving in to those overwhelming thoughts is not worth it with track “Nonsense”. Featuring the consuming sounds of atmospheric production, the track boasts a pensive sound from the get-go, which is only furthered by the sultry vocals and warped noise of Anaté, aka Ana and Andrea Del Miglio’s, work. And, with powerful messaging which encourages listeners to stop wasting time searching for answers at the heart of the duo’s latest project, it becomes profound in nature.
“‘Nonsense’ talks about the absurdity of life. More than that, about the absurdity of our constant struggles to give meaning to our lives,” explains singer-songwriter Ana when speaking on the track. “I do not believe life is meaningless, but I do believe that trying to find an explanation for everything is rather pointless. Most is nonsense and the purpose of life should be to live it, rather than to try to explain or understand it.”
While the existential focus of the track makes it wholly exciting, that is not where the pair’s latest gift stops giving, however. Calling on German DJ (Phillip Wolf), the duo’s latest track has also undergone an electronic makeover, culminating in “Nonsense (Remix)” that will drop on the 16th of September.
