Name a better combination than tequila and streetwear, we will wait! In the name of providing an iconic collaboration filled with summer spirit, tastemakers 1800 Tequila and shoe artist Daniel Cordas invite drinks and streetwear lovers alike to enjoy their iconic collaboration.
Nestled in the streets of Soho, the drinks name and infamous artist immersed themselves in a two-day event this August, and what an event it was. From celebrating the heritage of everyone’s favourite agave plant-based drink with an informative masterclass courtesy of tequila educator Oliver Pergl to streetwear fans being able to enjoy Cordas’s ability to breathe life into any streetwear sneaker with his masterful artistry with free sneaker makeovers, the pop up had it all. And, with 1800 Tequila-laden cocktails flowing and the buzzy energy of Soho channelling itself into the quaint pop-up store, a summer party atmosphere ensued.
When speaking on the aim of the collaboration, Daniel claimed, “together, we will share our joined passion of the work we do with the world, while offering hypebeasts the opportunity to get inspired to do the same.”
But, that is not where the excitement stopped. In the basement of the pop-up, streetwear fanatics were invited to browse through the collections of some of the brightest rising stars in the sustainable fashion game. With the designers on hand to detail the intimate beginnings of their brands as well as show off limited-edition pieces from their latest collections, the event became all the more spectacular.
