Serving up some much-needed pop-punk energy to get through hump day is She Drew The Gun with her thumping new single “Behave Myself”. Drawing us into her brilliantly crafted indie-pop soundscape, the artist rides the nostalgic guitar production, lacing it with bouts of feminism and flair. Accompanying the single with a vibrant and infectious video, the artist introduces us to an array of abstract art that captures the essence of the single.

Speaking on the track, the artist said, “Punk flavored pop for people who don’t want to behave themselves. It’s about the unstoppable forces that are made out of centuries of oppression. I see the cage and I will not accept anything less than freedom.”

Apart of her soon-to-be-released album Behave Myself, the single serves as a teaser for what we can expect. Coming alongside a tour this autumn, the artist is set for a takeover that we’re excited to witness.
