If you’re ever stumbling around the back streets of Covent Gardens in need of dreamy escape, we suggest venturing into Theatre Royal Drury Lane and experiencing Cecil Beaton’s bespoke cocktail bar. Having undergone a £60 million restoration by Andrew and Madeline Lloyd Webber, the brand new stylish destination boasts a selection of food underneath a garden-inspired setting. Succulent oil-dipped Sourdough bread, flavorsome dips and beautifully served cocktails are all available at the stylish venue, while you enjoy the sounds of some of the most iconic musicals.
Inspired by snapshots of Cecil’s life, each of the cocktails on the menu are dedicated to his work within costume design, pattern work and life tales. Exploring his flamboyance and uplifting characteristic through eccentric and tasteful ingredients, the menu includes punching rhubarb vodka and subtle vanilla flavours.
Open from 10am and severing a selection of rich cakes and delicious pastries, the bar is available for walk-ins throughout the day before coming alive as a cocktail bar in the evening.
