PREMIERE: ORA VIOLET – “A BETTER DEVIL”

The multi-talented band are crashing onto the scene with their new punk track ahead of their appearance at All Points East.

It’s Friday, which means it is time to let loose. And, what better way to do that than by getting swept up in the sounds of modern-day punk? Ora Violet is the multi-faceted band that wants you to rock out to their latest track, “A Better Devil”.

Packed full of intense instrumentation that results in a crashing sound, duo Black Tiles, guitarist Nick Ferman, vocalist Jeet Mulkerj and bass player Adam Liston are serving up the sounds of. With the band citing Primal Scream, Hunter S Thompson and producer Jimmy Miller as the influences behind their latest cut, listeners can expect to get swept up by waves of high-energy production and rock sensibilities. And, with profound lyrics offering a commentary on how the ‘Drive Reduction Theory’ could impact the protagonist amidst a pandemic, the angsty track finds depth and meaning.
