Artist Hanne Mjøen wants you to dance, laugh and cry your way through any emotionally turbulent situations you may be in with her new track, “Emotional Fever”. In a bid to allow her listeners to feel and embrace their deepest emotions, expect glistening, other-worldly vocals drenched in tormented thoughts to invoke your deepest feelings. But, with a shimmering production packed full of electronic notes guiding the artist’s deeply emotional lyrics, the track is given an unusually upbeat edge, offering listeners a blended sonic experience.

“One moment it feels like forever, and the next you get a panic attack and you just want to leave,” explains the artist when describing the mixed emotions that inspired the track. “And it feels like a fever because of the sudden changes you have no control over.” Starting off with glassy, lullaby raindrops, the song builds into a torrent of passionate production and a catchy hook, enhanced in a glaze of electronic echoes. It allows you to cry, be angry, dance and celebrate. You’ll enjoy the emotional fever and you might even catch it from those imprinting melodies. ”

And, with the artist’s EP of the same name heading towards a warmly-received release, expect more raw confessions on life and love clashing with grungey-yet-glimmering sensibilities very soon.
