“I am sure many people have secrets, I also had mine,” the singer said as she opened up on the single. “There was a time in my past relationship where I was split inside, having really two lives. As if secrets gave me some type of control or something. Reflecting on that I was writing ‘Like To Know’with the intention of  burying secrets by revealing a part of my past self.”
