When attempting to break into the music scene, an artist’s primary offerings sets the tone for the career ahead of them. And, if bedroom producer Donkey Kid’s latest cut is anything to go off, it can be assumed that he is about to catapult towards musical stardom.

Exuding an infectiously nonchalant energy, the artist’s bluesy vocals hope to entrance as masterfully produced instrumentation takes listeners on a euphoric sonic journey. With sampling and strings coming together on “Deep Blue” to provide a heavenly cacophony of sound, it becomes evident that his works is uniquely blended in nature. And, whilst the artist refuses to conform to the boundaries of a specific genre, indie and rock sensibilities collide as his diverse influences, such as Abbey Road, Hendrix in Tanger and psychedelic substances, become noticeable.

And, with his sights set firmly on a swift domination of the German music scene, it is fair to say that Donkey Kid is definitely one to watch over the coming month.
