New season means new drip, and Swedish resort and streetwear brand NIKEN is providing the goods. Continuing the conversation of being more sustainable and ethical in fashion, the brand put ecological development at the forefront of their latest collection, working with global performance brand REPREVE.

“Every brand is on its own journey when it comes to sustainability,” says co-founder Nicklas Abrahamasson “We are not influenced by others, we do what we can and really we are inspired by creating quality products that stand the test of time.”

Slotting in between Palace and Daily Paper, the brand’s new collection sees them venture into a more edgier style, with classic pieces reconstructed with new materials and shades of black and grey sprawled across t-shirts and shorts. Introducing a more lightweight style for the summer months, we also see an array of floaty styles in the collection, making it perfect for those scorching hot days.

Produced across Portugal, Poland, Thailand and Turkey, the brand says sustainability has always been on the agenda, as they revealed that even their packaging can be reused to keep wet swimwear or as a beach bag for personal belongs.
