With the sun radiating from above, freedom day insight and it being a Friday, we’re currently soaking up all the good vibes, and that includes City Rominiecki’s new single “Done It Again”. Lead by a hard-hitting trap beat and an array of melodic samples, the rapper intertwines feverish bars with hints of auto-tune to create a rhythmic single perfect for the club. The rising star, who has worked with Lil Wayne, Usher and Ty Dolla $ign, demands our attention on the track, as he puts his infectious confidence at the forefront of the single and rides the beat with ease.
“The inspiration behind making ‘Done it Again’ was simple, to take back control and prove that I can stand a chance with today’s competition,” the artist revealed. “The production put me in a boss mood it made me feel like I made it out like an old western when the cowboy kicks in the door ask who’s the deputy of this town.”
Originally from North Philadelphia, the rising star cites the likes of T Pain, Lauryn Hill and Frankie Beverly as his influences, pulling on their genre-bending and infectious sound. With more music on the way, it’ll be interesting to see what else the rapper has in store for us.
