It’s a known fact that the weather isn’t doing what we thought it would for this time of year. Focusing on the aspect of creating a sweatshirt that captures that 90s feel, Universal Works founder David Keyte dedicated his time this year to create a piece that captured that old school nostalgia, revealing that they eventually found what they were looking for in Portugal, “We chose an organic cotton loopback that was made from a slightly irregular yarn to give it more strength and surface texture, which we developed in an area of Portugal well-known and respected for jersey-making with a small, but the innovative company who make jersey for some of the world’s most celebrated brands. It’s a great fabric that adds fewer pesticides to our plant life and will be a staple part of our collection for years to come, so yes, for me, it’s special.”
