Over the last week, the fashion world has experienced somewhat of an haute couture overload. And, riding fresh of the back of couture fashion week, supermodel Bella Hadid graced the Cannes Film Festival dripping in the finest Schiaparelli designs in a bid to continue on with the week’s festivities. Draped in a sumptuous black frontless gown, Bella oozed opulence. And, the star of the show? The stunningly ornate lung necklace that doubled up as a breastplate was a major talking point of the week.

Who would have thought that Beyoncé was a hypebeast? Taking to Instagram whilst sporting some of the most sought after designers of our time, Beyoncé looked both elegant and unusually casual this week. Dramatics were provided by the singer’s Christopher John Rogers Collection 007 cotton twill floral trousers that boasted the exaggerated silhouettes synonymous with the American designer’s work. And, ensuring that the vibrant trousers were met with muted accompanying garments, Beyoncé completed the look with a simple tied shirt and a dreamy white Telfar Shopping Bag.

It is fair to say that one of the reasons as to why Gossip Girl is so loved is because of its looks. And, who better to craft the extravagant outfits that adorn the cast of wealthy New Yorkers than a Beyoncé-approved designer? Making a second appearance in this week’s round-up is the boxy cuts and vivid colours that Christopher John Rogers is known for. His second muse of the week was rising actress and Gossip Girl reboot star Savannah Lee Smith. Taking to the set of the beloved drama series, the actress’ character could be seen sporting a striking iridescent lilac suit complete with protruding shoulder pads and a cropped blazer. Clearly, Monet de Haan is a CJR type of woman.

Luka Sabbat is somewhat of a reference point for street style, and this week he took to Instagram to remind us why. Choosing the charming streets of Paris as his backdrop – no doubt while he stopped by a few of the most coveted fashion shows of the year – the actor did oversized everything as black combat trousers and stompy boots joined a subtly pin-striped blazer.

Khalid has been driving his fans wild by building up to the release of his new single “New Normal” with a string of cryptic posts. After wiping his Instagram clean, the pop star treated his fans to a summer-infused display that saw him dressed in a clean powdery yellow two-piece that oozed undeniable style. What better way to finish our weekly fashion round-up than a feature from one of the style icons of our generation? Proving that she hasn’t finished unveiling her new era, Billie Eilish debuted another look from her recently-adopted aesthetic. At first glance, the singer’s playfully printed corset seems to be the sole star of the show, but, when admiring the outfit’s detailed lace shirt and complimentary exposed bra, it becomes apparent that the clashing prints have been carefully paired.
