Continuing on with its irresistibly relatable portrayal of the highs and lows of university life, grown-ish is back with the trailer for its highly-anticipated season 4, and this time it’s senior year.

The black-ish spin-off has become renowned for drawing in viewers with Yara Shahidi‘s entrancing portrayal of character Zoey in the unique single-camera comedy, and the latest trailer drop proves that season 4 will be no different. Setting in on the scenes of Zoey posing for a mugshot, drama is promised from the get-go as we hear the star muse the prospect of a clean slate upon the commencement of her senior year as scenes of parties and bikini-filled holidays to Mexico fill the screen. But, true to form, the show’s dramatics also feature as we see socio-political protests and contemplations of the distressing political climate meet scenes of Zoey’s father expressing his disappointment in his daughter. With the show’s beloved cast, including the likes of Chloe and Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat and Trevor Jackson, all gracing the trailer which teases an upcoming wedding and promises to follow the aftermath of the romantic endeavours of season 3, season 4 is shaping up to be quite the event.

Set to grace screens on July 8th, prepare for university drama and plenty of laughs upon the drop of the latest season.
