Partnering with the accessible mental health initiative BetterHelp, Ari took to Instagram yesterday to reveal that she is giving away an initial $1,000,000 worth of free therapy with a licensed therapist over a month-long period, which can then be renewed and continued with. After an outpouring of support and excitement ensued, the star then went on to double her pledge, meaning that there is now $2,000,000 worth of therapy to be had. And, with Ari claiming her excitement at the prospect of further collaborations with the mental health platform, it is clear that this is just the beginning of this truly admirable collaboration that aims to challenge the stigma and lack of accessibility to help regarding mental health.

“While acknowledging that therapy should not be for a privileged few but something everyone has access to, and acknowledging that this doesn’t fix that issue in the long run, I really wanted to do this anyway in hopes of inspiring you to dip a toe in, to feel okay asking for help, and to hopefully rid your minds of any sort of self judgement in doing so,” explained Ariana in an Instagram post yesterday.
