We don’t know about you, but AlienBlaze’s new single “Broken Hearted or What?” is taking us right back to our teenage feels. Laced with bouts of angst and emo-pop energy, the British singer’s latest single crosses the grunge rock boundary and enters a whirlpool of both goth and electronica. Putting her powerhouse vocals at the forefront of the track, the singer opens up on an array of conflicting emotions that are left after a breakup, painting a picture of encouragement for her fans.

Speaking on the single, the artist said, “I had also gone through a phase of watching lots of John Hughes films, hence the lyric, ‘Treat me like an 80s film’. The chorus however is the conclusion, basically saying to get over it and be a strong person.” 

Filled with floaty moments and harsh basslines, AlienBlaze’s latest single reflects the various moods of a breakup, touching on everything from euphoric revelations to those in your feels moments that everyone can relate to.
