The Queens native drops his genre-blurring project.

Pulling on a range of influences for his genre-bending project is Queens native Danny Singh with “Ozone Park”. Touching on elements of R&B, punk and electronica, the artist effortlessly weaves his way through a fiesta of dark indie-pop sound waves, lacing each track with sublime retro synths and eccentric vocals. Transporting us to the heart of a video game on the opening track, the artist bounces across an array of Tron-inspired sounds before landing at the rock-tinged chorus. Keeping the same energy throughout the EP on tracks such as “These Days” and “Program” with Stanley Luxx, it’s clear that the artist is consistently expanding his sound and leaning into various genres.

Starting his passion at an early age, Danny first started his career in the church, where his mother served as a lead vocalist and his father as the musical director. Jumping forward a few years, the artist has gone on to win AfroPunk and Battle of the Bands with his musical group, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
