While the weather might not be the best, we have been busily putting together our summer to-do list, and our most recent addition is London’s new sandwich shop Bodega Rita’s. Set to open its new home in Clerkenwell this summer, the sandwich shop is due to make a huge comeback with its range of legendary lunch-ready subs and classic baguettes.

Boasting a menu that includes spiced salami ventricina, smoked cheddar cheese and roasted oyster mushrooms, the deli will be taking some of their traditional and well-known sandwiches and spicing them up with various twists. Also making a much-needed comeback is Bodega Rita’s tacos, but with slow-roasted pork shoulder, topped with diced sweet white onions and coriander.

And of course, you’re going to need a beverage to wash all this food down and with a selection ranging from Ozone coffee to Mexican cola, you’re spoilt for choice.
