It is only fair that the reigning queen of beauty kicks off this week’s round-up. Taking a quick break from ethereal beats and alien attire, Doja Cat took to Instagram to offer us a more down to earth display. The star’s peroxide blonde hair was styled with excessive amounts of product, resulting in a spiky wet look. And, with smokey black shadow smudged over her lids and henna-stained fingers featuring in the picture, the clashing tones resulted in a dreamy punky aesthetic.

After watching Friends: The Reunion, it is safe to say that all of us have been binge-watching the entirety of the iconic sitcom. And, while we enjoy the array of 90s looks and trends that lace the show, watchers most probably found themselves dreaming of the fluffy layers and long bobs that Jennifer Anniston became know for in season 1. Showing off her modern-day take on the infamous look this week was model Adut Akech. Whilst slightly shorter than the original look, the model’s buoyant layers and front falling strands washed over in a dark chocolate brown hue culminated in a striking likeness to the original Rachel Green hairstyle. Accompanied by a deep brown glossy lip and silver acrylics, the look is one that we will be recreating.

Continuing on with her domination of the makeup industry is Rihanna. Expanding her Fenty Beauty empire, the musician-turned-businesswoman unveiled the Gloss Bomb Heat in a fiery pic this week. Heavily bronzed and sporting shimmering lids, the star’s plumped cherry lips were the focal point of the campaign. While it may not be the R9 drop we are all waiting for, we will definitely take it.

Clad in an uber-sexy underwear set and offering her followers a look at her luscious locks and pristine beat, Solange really turned it out this week. Sporting a dramatic turquoise eye look accentuated by a think black arch running over it, the singer’s glowing makeup commanded the attention of the entire TL – and, rightly so.

Proving once again that she is the reigning champion of the TikTok-induced 00s trends is Bella Hadid. Dropping a picture littered with desktop screen pixels, the supermodel’s two-toned pink and blue shadow, slick whispy front fringe and hairspray-held curls culminated in the ultimate throwback look. If you see us with a haphazard self-cut fringe next week, you now know why.

Styled to perfection, SZA showed off a funky hairstyle and clashing eye look in her latest Instagram post. Reminiscent of fellow Beauty Looks star Rihanna’s iconic flame-coloured hair, the singer crafted a look featuring a sweeping fringe and structured curls forming a crown-like shape. Contrast came in the form of a powdery lilac eyeshadow that formed a dramatic winged effect, resulting in the colour combo that dreams are made of.

Putting on the boldest display of the week was singer Khalid with his eccentric new hair colour. The singer’s deep purple locks were adorned with vibrant magenta patches leading to a wildly exciting mixing of colours laying over his head akin to what we have seen the likes of Kevin Abstract and Frank Ocean experimenting with in the past.

Donning pencil-thin eyebrows and a powdery white face, Iris Law channelled her inner Édith Piaf in her latest Instagram post. With a baby blue hue washing over her lids and clumpy lashes resulting in a striking eye moment, Law portrayed less of a makeup look and more of a display of wearable art.

Rounding off the line-up is internet sensation uglyworldwide. Known for her unconventional looks, the rising star can always be trusted to put on a show with her Instagram posts. This week, Burberry ribbons were her muse as she tied the stone coloured accessories into her blonde locks and showcased her signature ultra-thin eyebrows, resulting in a sweet yet edgy mixing of aesthetics.
