North West London rapper Casscade has lust on the brain as he unveils new track “Dance For Me”. The rapper’s latest offering is multi-dimensional in nature as listeners are eased into it by the soothing sounds of a delicate piano solo, alluding to the idea that this could be a classical or pop song. But, as an acoustic guitar begins to twang, Casscade’s lyrical bars enter as the track is plunged into a rapidly flowing rap. Standing as an ode to an unnamed woman that the rapper is infatuated with, the song is sultry in tone and portrays the artist’s longing and desire throughout.

“The track is about a sinful lust I have for this woman that has ‘danced’ for me but I can’t get her infectious vibe out of my system. ‘We spoke in tongues’ as I mention in the hook is just a metaphor for a kiss we shared, but after that she left me in the dark. It’s an unfinished business vibe,” explains the artist when discussing the meaning of his song.

The sultry rap also comes accompanied by a music video set against a grand backdrop and depicting an elegant ballerina and a frustrated Casscade in a wordless dialogue. And, with the rapper’s vocal flow sharing similarities with his idols such as Skepta and Drake and his previous works having gained the recognition of Spotify and Amazon Music, it is clear that the next stop for Casscade is rap domination.
