Call Me By Your Name has been a era-defining film. Having shot Timothée Chalamet into the depths of stardom and received critically acclaimed recognition globally, it is safe to say that we can expect the film to be talked about for years to come. But, what we didn’t expect was for the film’s director and some of the cast’s standout actors to reunite for a cannibal horror movie. But, in true 2021 style, that is exactly what is set to happen in Luca Guadagnino’s Bones & All.
The CMBYN director has called upon many of his friends from the industry, including writer David Kajganich and decorated actress Chloë Sevigny, to join Timmy and Michael Stuhlbarg for the film’s dazzling lineup. Set to follow the bizarre meeting of a young cannibal and drifter, the film promises to portray a whirlwind romance and plenty of gruesome flesh-eating scenes as the 2015 novel of the same name written by Camille DeAngelis provides its base plot.
While there is no release date to be found, filming of the romantic horror commenced in America this week, meaning that we are one step closer to seeing the Call Me By Your Name ensemble in a wildly different light.
