After saving the environment (and this year’s Covid Christmas), Kiss The Hippo have some exciting, eco-friendly news to share: they’ve gone Carbon Negative!
Known around the world for their innovative and sustainable approach to our favourite caffeine fix, the independent coffee roasters have been working hard at expanding their existing partnership with Swiss non-profit organisation On A Mission. To go carbon negative means that all their products, that’s the coffees, coffee pods, cupping spoons and cold brew cups they have on offer are totally green. Pretty sick, right?
That’s not all either. In celebration of their new status, and in aid of supporting global reforestation initiatives, the brand will also be donating plant-at-home gift packs to the first 1,500 people who buy their coffees online. From here on out, Kiss The Hippo have pledged to plant a tree for every coffee pod and individual bag of ethical coffee beans purchased through their site to offset their carbon footprint even further! We’re not scientists by any means, but that sounds like a whole lot of good for mother nature.
