If we’ve come to expect anything from Saturday Night Live over the last few years, there’ll be a killer cast, plenty of gut-busting jokes, and a few musical performances that’ll be etched in our brains until the end of time.

Thankfully this Saturday, the finale of the show’s 46th season was no exception to the rule. There were parodies of corporate pride, expert hosting by an impeccably dressed Anya Taylor-Joy, and the moment everyone’s been talking about these past two days, Lil Nas X splitting his pants.

The wardrobe malfunction struck towards the end of his performance of chart-topper “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, with the pop prodigy having just been carried to a stripper pole by a group of muscled dancers. Going into full slut-drop mode like us after two pink gins, you can kind of guess what happens next.

Though the wardrobe gaffe wasn’t totally Lenny Kravitz, speculation has arisen as to whether the incident was planned or not, but we couldn’t care less. The leather flame-licked ensemble, cropped at the chest and given some FIRE corset detailing across the leg, was courtesy of London-based fashion designer Mowalola, who Nas also donned in a performance of his latest emotive tune “SUN GOES DOWN”.

Watching the creation of a pop superstar in real-time has never felt so inspiring – and Nas, if you need someone to stitch up your fit, we know a couple of badass seamstresses who can fix that rip in no time. Just give us a call!
