In need of a little escapism? Life got you slightly down? Let indie artist Temple In Man transport you away from the shackles of reality with his latest track “Stranger”. Taken from his newly released album Spots Of Light, lead track “Stranger” acts as an embodiment of his latest offering. Twinkling and synth-infused production set the tone for the song as a low-fi soundscape emerges. The Stockholm-based artist’s indie vocals lead the listener on a journey of transcendence while sharp notes of 60s and 70s jazz offer an uplifting tone to the otherwise mellow track.

When speaking on the album as a whole, the artist stated, “I wanted to create a dreamy and magical soundscape that captured both my vision for Temple In Man and the essence of the album topics. I set out to create a musical world that hopefully carries the listener away to a special and magical place. When writing the album, it felt like I was heading out on a journey – a journey of self-exploration, experimentation and growth. In retrospect, it feels like a large extent of the album wrote itself, in a sense. I mostly just let the songs come into being without forcing the process to take place – which in itself feels like a true joy and blessing to experience. The process of writing the album took about two years from start to end.”

With the artist’s previous debut offerings, including “Reminiscing” and “Blue Skies”, having collected a diverse set of accolades and received a widely positive reception, it is clear that his expressions of reality and dreams resonate with those who hear them. And, with his latest album now out, we are sure that his work is only going to gain further recognition.
