We all have those moments where we think things are just a little too good to be true, whether it be knee-deep in the honeymoon stage of a relationship or unexpected good news that just keeps on coming. For electro-pop artist Barrett Crake, this feeling is all too familiar, as he explores the notion in his latest euphoric single “Feels Right”. Laced with retro synths and eccentric bass lines, the singer drenches himself in optimism, fusing it with his vibrant imagination and intimate storytelling.
Explaining the concept and single, the artist said, “I was inspired by that feeling in relationships where things feel really good at first but I’m then suspicious of how long could this feeling possibly last? I’m typically overly optimistic but sometimes I get gut feelings of knowing some things are too good to be true!”
Accompanying the single with an attention-grabbing video choreographed and directed by Katy Perry favourite Matt Cady, Crake once again brings us into his own world with fun-filled dances and bold animations. Having already attracted an enthusiastic fanbase, the singer is set to release more bangers throughout the year.
