Riding the same wavelength of Swedish House Mafia and Disclosure with his new electronica single is rising bedroom producer Indigo Eyes with “Where Were You”. Coupling smooth harmonic tones with seductive grooves, the producer enters a deep house soundscape on the production, using booming bass lines and shuffling beats to ease us in. Like his previous single, the London-hailed producer lets his creative flair run wild with warming atmospheric compositions and slick transitions.

Speaking about the single, the producer said, “Over the winter period this year I got really into deep house, likely because I was missing clubbing, but also because it weirdly helped me study for my exams, which definitely inspired this track a huge amount. I had it in an almost finished state for months with the feeling it needed just one more thing but I couldn’t put my finger on it, then one day I went to my piano and played the melody you hear half way through the track in one take and I knew that’s what I was looking for!”

Indigo Eyes’ latest release follows on from his club-ready EP “Close to You”, which saw the young star demonstrate his eccentric sound and prowess in four ear-ringing tracks. Already growing a large fan base through his social media, Indigo Eyes is steadily developing his sound and is looking like a one-to-watch in the coming months.
