The cast of HBO’s Euphoria has gone above and beyond to prove that they are more than just actors. While their on-screen presence is undeniable – and not to mention Emmy-award winning – the stars of the show have made a name for themselves outside of film and TV. From Zendaya becoming a celebrated style icon, to Alexa Demie exploring the world of fairytale publications, each member of the cast has begun to venture into various creative industries, each with their own individual flair. The next member of the show’s cast to do so is Hunter Schafer upon the unveiling of her first Prada campaign.

Directed by filmmaker Xavier Dolan, the video campaign takes us on a euphoric adventure as Schafer prances around her bedroom whilst partaking in various day-to-day tasks. Donning a blonde wig and showcasing Parda’s classic Galleria bag, we see the actress embody a plethora of personas and emotions, all the while dressed to the nines in an array of retro-infused Prada looks. In a bid to fuse fashion and film, the campaign is born out of the creative imaginings of both Dolan and Schafer as they take the reigns and encourage us to dream and explore emotions, all the while highlighting the craftmanship and dream-inspired ethos at the heart of the classic Prada accessory.

“Schafer is our heroine – a romantic, a young girl imagining her place within her different fantasies,” explains Prada. “We leap from her bedroom, to imaginings of a fashion shoot, universal reflections of fashion as imagined in the popular consciousness, an escape from her reality. But that reality could itself be a dream: these scenes are contradictorily framed by the apparatus of filmmaking, contained within cinematic sets that evoke the dream factory of Hollywood, another source of endless enchantment, like the world of fashion she imagines.”
