Well, breakthrough producer and multi-instrumentalist Flourish certainly does and he has used this exact feeling to inspire his debut track “Time Stops”. Featuring funky production and electric instrumentation, the track is an upbeat ode to good times. And, with the sounds of summer ringing throughout, it will be sure to have you head-bopping your way down the street.

“‘Time Stops’ to me is about noticing you are having a moment of pure joy and accepting the fact that the moment is fleeting,” explains Michael Keefe – aka Flourish – when speaking on the meaning of the track. “Sometimes when you’re enjoying yourself it can feel like time briefly stops moving and you really appreciate all the good things in your life.”

Accompanying this feel-good tune is a vibrant music video. Featuring a painter dancing his way through work, the visuals are born out of the creative talent of seasoned director Roisino, who perfectly captures the essence of the song with the truly joyous display.

Having forged his musical career through dedicated self-teaching and experimenting with his genre-defying sound, it is clear that this debut track is the first of many successful tunes to come from Flourish, and we cannot wait for his next release.
