While binge-watching a Netflix series can be a truly euphoric experience, the pain of waiting months and months for the release of a new season can be unbearable. And no one knows this pain quite like Stranger Things fans. With season 3 of the hit Netflix show having been released way back in July 2019, it is safe to say we have all been extremely patient after a year of next to no new content. But, following on from the explosive From Russia with love⦠clip that dropped last year – confirming that beloved character Jim Hopper may still be alive – Netflix are back with the official teaser trailer for the upcoming season.
Entitled Eleven, are you listening? the short trailer will send shivers down your spine and has tensions running high from the get-go. Setting in on a grim experimental facility, the ominous echoes of laughter ring over scenes of a group of young children dressed in hospital gowns playing games – who are all sporting the infamous shaved head that Millie Bobby Brown debuted during her premiere as Eleven. Then, entering in a chillingly relaxed manner, we see the character loathed by Stranger Things fans and Netflix watchers alike, Papa. Featuring a creepy narrative from the evil doctor, suspense mounts as we focus in on a door marked “11” until we see a flash of Eleven’s eyes just before the clip cuts out, leaving us filled with questions and suspense.
