It is safe to say that many of us were hiding away from the rain this weekend, meaning that those meticulously planned bank holiday ‘fits went to waste. Well, while the weather may have put a dampener on our weekends, it did not stop IG from turning out some serious fashion moments. By now, we are all aware that it was Lizzo’s birthday last week – if you didn’t know then your phone is clearly broken. After a barrage of dreamy Insta pics and outpourings of birthday love on the TL, last week was all about Lizzo and her outfits made sure of that. From vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dresses and Balmain trench coats to gold embellished black mini dresses and bikini pics galore, Lizzo chose the world as her runway as she jetted off to Vegas and took a trip to the beach in a truly celebratory form. Happy Birthday Lizzo, our eternal idol.

Also celebrating a birthday this weekend was Travis Scott. While the rapper is usually a lot more low key on the gram, clearly some of Lizzo’s infectious birthday energy rubbed off on him as he shared his take on a birthday ‘fit. Set against white sands and clear waters, Travis chose a white utility vest and cargo shorts paired with a brown t-shirt for his look. And, Stormi’s dad said it best, “a vest on the beach is a vibe.”

Law Roach strikes again! While he is renowned for styling Euphoria co-star Zendaya, Law is clearly planning on working his magic on the whole cast, starting with Hunter Schafer. Dressed in a periwinkle suit with a matching turtleneck and intricate accessories, the star was a pastel-infused vision. Offering contrast and dramatics, the outfit was defined by a pair of thigh-high leather combat boots with fur protruding from the edges. Law Roach, your genius will never cease to amaze us!

We are going to need a minute to process this look. While The Weeknd is not afraid of a quirky style moment (we still don’t know how he managed to make bandages and blood stylish), his latest look is out there, to say the least. The all-black ensemble gives us fisherman meets assassin vibes and we are here for it. Wearing an oversized boxy rain jacket and matching trousers, the “Save Your Tears” singer donned a pair of industrial lace-up boots. But, the standout piece from the look? That exaggerated fisherman hat is going to be in our dreams for a while.

Adut Akech officially welcomed in the summer this week by offering us a pic from her holiday. Choosing to embrace the crochet trend, the supermodel donned a striking green two-piece. The outfit consisted of a fringe skirt and matching bralette, which she paired with a neutral hat and gold hoops.

Michael B. Jordan had jaws dropping this week with his latest ensemble. While celebrating the premiere of his new film Without Remorse, the actor went all-black everything in a form-fitting all-black tuxedo with a satin finish, complete with a bowtie.
