If you are in search of the perfect post-pandemic luxury shopping experience, look no further than London’s ultimate watches, jewellery and accessories shopping destination. Burlington Arcade, which is situated in the heart of Mayfair, is finally reopening its 202-year-old doors to the public. Housing a plethora of your favourite brands and shops, including Manolo Blahnik with its new private shopping experiences, Bell & Ross and The Vintage Watch Company, the arcade specialises in exclusivity, luxury and one-of-a-kind purchases. Offering a diverse shopping experience by fusing both old and new luxury brands, the arcade caters to every style.

To celebrate its recent reopening, the arcade has some exciting projects in the works. To begin with, the gallery is hosting a drinks evening in May, courtesy of a partnership with Ruinart by LVMH Moët Hennessy and Savile Row Gin, to ensure that its reopening is as grand and luxurious as the retail experiences it offers. To further elevate the affair, Laduree’s reinvented breakfast menu is available, which stands as the perfect treat before a day of shopping, and the promise of upcoming collaborations with a host of different DJs means that the arcade has something for everyone – even pet lovers, who are welcome to bring their furry friends along!

Probably the most exciting new addition to the arcade is the renovated Globe-Trotter flagship boutique. Offering some of the most finely crafted and exclusive luggage that London has to offer, the new store has it all. While the DJ decks, which are set to play host to the likes of Loren Oakley, and the newly fitted bar offer a premium shopping experience, the star of the show is the exclusive ‘Burlington Special Edition’ luxury luggage. Harking on the Savile Row tailoring used to create the Burlington Arcade’s Beadles uniforms, navy and cherry red hues lace the leather cases, all of which are emblazoned with a fused motif featuring both the Burlington and Globe-Trotter logos. And, with the store’s other travel accessories having been shopped by the likes of Kate Moss and the Queen, it is clear that the brand caters to all with its stylishly sophisticated offerings.

So, whether you’re taking a gander around the Fiona Fleur Studio, window shopping for jewellery and watches at the recently-launched Amrapali Jewels boutique and Somlo London Omega Vintage or just trying to take in the ambience of the historic building, Burlington Arcade is the place to be.
