Between House of Gucci and that infamous “I HaTe IT HeRe” scene from Marriage Story, Adam Driver is really having his moment and it’s only getting bigger as director Leos Carax has dropped the trailer for his first English language debut film Annette. Starring the Star Wars actor and legend Marion Cotillard, the film tells the story of a provocative motorcycle-loving stand-up comedian and his wife, a world-famous soprano (Cotillard), as they live their glamorous life. But things take a turn when their daughter Annette is born with a rather unique gift.

Originally set to star Rihanna and Rooney Mara, the film has been on the table since 2016 but has been riddled with delays, stalled productions and casting issues, leading it to finally be released July 6 at this year’s iconic Cannes Film Festival and the teaser is looking award season material.
