BackRoad Gee – “A Yo”

This beat is so hot it’s practically burning, but would we expect anything less from BackRoad Gee? The London-based rapper is giving us punchy flows and bars for days on his new track, which, at its heart, is a message about making the most of life – no matter the cards you’re dealt.

AJ Tracey – Flu Game

Showcasing his unrelenting lyrical prowess on “Eurostep”, or bouncing hard with tropical grooves on the Kehlani featuring “Coupé” – AJ Tracey’s sophomore album might just be his best release yet. We’ll leave it for you to decipher your favourite track, but if you’re looking for the sound of your summer, the coastal grooves and easy-breezy delivery Tracey serves up on “Little More Love” should be right up your street.

Regard – “You (feat. Troye Sivan & Tate McRae)

With cavernous house beats, soft vocals and sweet, sweet lyrics aplenty, allow this trio of harmonious alt-poppers to take you on a squelchy yet euphoric trip to the dancefloor – we promise you won’t regret it.

Renforshort – “exception”

Our favourite emerging talent is teasing a new cut from her forthcoming sophomore EP, off saint dominique, and let us tell you – it’s pretty deep. The captivating new single sees ren elevate her already dreamy sound into something far more enchanting and soul searching. Expect the singer-songwriter’s signature dynamic vocals to take you on an immersive trip inside her psyche with her deeply personal lyrics and waves of emotional flare.

Emotional Oranges – “Down To Miami (feat. Becky G)”

We love ourselves a slow jam, so LA R&B duo Emotional Oranges’ latest track is doing the damn thing for us. Collaborating with global superstar Becky G, this Friday the trio have concocted a sultry offering that is sure to be a beachside smash hit. The vibes are chill and feel-good, making us wanna kick back in the sun and drink all of our problems away…

Megan Thee Stallion – “Movie (feat. Lil Durk)”

Hot off the heels of her three(!!) Grammy wins last month, Megan Thee Stallion is back to kick off a new Hot Girl summer with the video for “Movie”. Think Hustlers but post-pandemic, the vibes even more electric because no one’s been making it rain for a good couple of months thanks to restrictions on clubbing, though unfortunately there isn’t a Cardi B or Constance Wu in sight. We just want to know why we weren’t invited on as extras to hit the pole and start doing tricks for such a killer track…
