Our time is now. The co-operation behind idolised K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and South Korean rapper G-Dragon are on the hunt for the next all-boy group – and you could become a member.
Hosting global open auditions via Zoom, YG Entertainment are welcoming aspiring pop stars from all over the world to put their talent on display to be in a chance of snagging a spot. There are, of course, some terms and conditions in entry requirements, as YG Entertainment stipulate that auditions are open to any male born between 2002 and 2010 (sorry 90s babies), and must not have signed or have any affiliations with another agency.
Of course, the winners will have to undergo strenuous K-Pop boot camp to be in the same leagues as their counterparts, including being able to sing in Korean and Chinese and have more danceability than most Gen Z TikTokkers. So, if you think you’re in with a chance, then apply here – good luck!
