If it feels like you’re witnessing an ushering in of a new era for rap, it’s because STEF is here to do it. The Tampa-born rap disruptor set pulses racing with the audio drop his braggadocious track “Make Ya Holla” last year, which revs into life via propulsive basslines, with STEF flexing his charismatic flow and daring bravado.
And now, growing the viral success behind the track, the rising star has now arrived with a hyperkinetic music video, which takes us on a wild adventure at an adult shop named Bust’ N Nuts. Think a NSFW version of Toy Story that involves latex straight-jackets, blow-up doll claw cranes, sexy Ken dolls come to life, and a group of women having the night of their dreams side. STEF takes on a variety of hilarious alter-egos which showcase the artist’s tongue-in-cheek comedic style – and spot internet sensation Coco Blake also making an appearance.
“I can’t believe it’s finally out!” says STEF on his excitement for the drop. “Man, it’s been long overdue…but you gotta trust the process. I’ve been on edge to share this world we are creating sonically and visually…it really is something unique and special. Most importantly it’s needed in today’s crazy times. I want fans to have something to be excited about and stand behind! We doing timeless work that transcends beyond genres and hype and I’m here to make a statement.”
