Let’s be real, our Monday nights haven’t been quite the same since Game of Thrones wrapped in 2019. The show was the source of our weekly TL banter, office kitchen gossip and idle small talk in awkward encounters. With the show done and dusted we’re been craving some dragons and white walkers, and HBO heard our cries.
The studio are reportedly set to produce three new projects in George R.R. Martin’s fictional world, including 9 Voyages, Flea Bottom and 10,000 ships. While the latter two still haven’t got fully fleshed out ideas, according to Deadline 9 Voyages will continue the storyline of Corlys Velaryon’s voyages aboard the Sea Snake ship as he journeys to Pentos and Dragonstone. 10,000 Ships will follow warrior queen Princess Nymeria and the other surviving members of Rhoynars who travelled to Dorne, whereas Flea Bottom will take us to the poorest district of King’s Landing.
While these are still in the very stages of development, we’ll have to grit our teeth and wait for a few more years for any visual update. But luckily, we can expect prequel series House of Dragon sometime in the next year.
