The brand’s SS21 collection ushers in a new era of technological fabrics and rich colours, inspired by the earth’s elements.
As weekend strolls start to heat up and green leaves return to the trees, we can pretty much kiss winter goodbye, at least in a few weeks anyway. But what are we to do when the sun arrives? Nobis reckon it’s about time we got our Spring shop on, and we’d have to agree.
This week the brand have launched their Spring Summer 2021 collection, touting it their most adaptable and transitional offering to date. Taking inspiration from the earth’s elements, Nobis are embarking on a new era of featherweight textural fabrics, fused with intense and rich colour palettes that reflect the earth’s ever-changing season’s – sort of like the outerwear obsessed elder sibling of the mood ring.
Think vermillion reds, heather greys, deep navy ocean blues, and, of course, an array of cedar greens that compliment the collection’s utilitarian heart. However It’s not just the colours that reflect the changing seasons, Nobis have also taken care to craft membrane laminations, seam-sealed construction, and durable water repellent finishes to create long-lasting, durable pieces that can withstand wind, water, your body and even your washing machine.
Camo jackets take centre stage here, reimagined with soft, baby pink accents, fitted with structured piping and extended with long-line fits that unzip at the side. Trench coats are slimmer and sleaker, zipped to the neck with twin pockets on the chest. Windbreakers come with sturdy buttons and even sturdier collars, or as quarter zips finished with neat toggles and a luscious two-tone cream base. Ultimately, Nobis is stressing function AND fashion, because why not do both?
