Take yourself back to last year May: Chloe Ting workouts, banana bread attempts and, of course, Charli XCX’s quarantine album how i’m feeling now. Perfectly capturing her unique experience of self-isolation and loneliness with eleven experimental synth-laden tracks, the singer documented this period perfectly, and has announced a forthcoming documentary titled Alone Together.

Premiering at this year’s virtual SXSW showcase, the film directed by filmmakers Bradley & Pablo will chronicle all the emotions of creating, connecting and living in quarantine. “The documentary tells the story of not only the 5-week process surrounding the making of my album,” Charli wrote on Instagram. “But also all the emotions that creating, connecting and living in a quarantine and in basically a new world evokes for people across the globe.”

The film which was originally reported to be titled 6ft Apart will premiere on March 18th at the 2021 edition of the film festival.
